FreshPath ("the App") is a personal recovery and sobriety day counter. Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains what data the App collects and how it is used.

Data Storage

All your data — including your start date, theme preference, diary entries, and milestone progress — is stored locally on your device using your browser's or app's local storage. Your data never leaves your device unless you choose to use the optional sync feature described below.

Optional Server Sync

If you access the App through a self-hosted web server, your data may be synced to that server to prevent data loss. This sync is entirely under your control and goes only to infrastructure you operate. The App does not send data to any third-party servers.

Data Backup & Export

The App offers an optional data backup feature that exports your data as a local file on your device. This file stays on your device and is not uploaded anywhere. You control who has access to your backup files. Future versions may offer optional cloud backup via iCloud or Google Drive, which will require your explicit opt-in consent before any data leaves your device.

Data We Do Not Collect

Third-Party Services

The App does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The App uses locally bundled fonts and does not make external network requests for content delivery.

Children's Privacy

The App does not knowingly collect any personal information from children under 13. The App does not require any personal information to function.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
